During the so-called Neapolitan 'golden century' an impulse is undertaken towards a renewal of the monuments, palaces, churches, squares, etc. In this environment, painting experiences a boom and a new view thanks to Caravaggio. The exhibition creates a magnificent pictorial review of the century, with works by Ribera, Giordano, Falcone and Solimena, among others, highlighting the evolution and the splendor of this happy season of Neapolitan art.
